The Vaccine Control Group is a Worldwide independent long-term study that is seeking to provide a baseline of data from unvaccinated individuals for comparative analysis with the vaccinated population, to evaluate the success of the Covid-19 mass vaccination programme and assist future research projects. This study is not, and will never be, associated with any pharmaceutical enterprise as its impartiality is of paramount importance.
The VaxControlGroup is a community cooperative, for the people. All monies raised will be re-invested into the project and its community.
Will my addition make a difference? This is the question some ask. But here’s the thing: if there are only one hundred, and only one is added – then, well, 101 doesn’t seem to be any different. But there is strength in numbers. As of November 2021, there are over 100,000 that have joined the Vaccine Control Group worldwide; the aim is to get to 1 million. Help spread the word.
Will it make a difference in my day to day life? you may ask. For example in getting into places or avoiding the vaccine? A valid question, and the more are part of the group, the more influence it will have. Some have had experiences, to be sure, that showing the card has not allowed them to get into a place, for instance a restaurant.
But there are increasing examples of where it HAS made a difference. There’s now a Telegram group (search for Card Success Stories – CG Community, or directly to @flowqueen) where people can enter their card success stories, and the list is increasing. Sometimes it takes a bit of courage to stand up and insist on it making that difference. Even in strict places like Australia there are success stories. Once you have joined the Control Group you can add your own experiences.

From Australia: I’m going to Spotlight (large fabric & furnishings store) & the young man looks at the digital version, reads out loud ‘Not to be vaccinated’… and then directs my to sign in on the pencil and paper option!!

From New York: The first time I used my card was in a restaurant in Queens, New York. When the lady asked us if we had the vax card, I showed her my vax control card she just looked at it and let us go inside.
From Germany: The second time was 3 weeks ago in Berlin. When the guy from the hotel says we need the vax to stay at the hotel, I show him my ID card and we check in fine, without him saying anything else 😁
From Hawaii: I am from Honolulu Hawaii and have the VCG card. I successfully got into my yoga class with the card. I was turned away from my Ocean Club and I am a paying member. This is only the beginning I will continue to use the VCG card to get into my favorite restaurants. Thank you to the founders of the VCG🙏🏽⚖️🏆
From Malaysia: Used my card today for the first time! I was successful but I think the girl at the entrance didn’t understand the card 😂 and wasn’t prepared to challenge me! Admittedly she was a bit on the meek side. I just showed her confidently, told her what my temperature was and walked in! My husband followed and showed his card and said “same as my wife”?? 😜
From the UK: My husband returned on Monday from Gatwick airport. Got stopped as he put himself as exempt from quarantine on his passenger locator form. They were arguing with him about it. Me….waiting on the other side of arrivals…… text him to stand his ground and “show them your control group card!” which he did. They then changed their tune and let him in ✊. He also used the card in any places where they asked for a vaccine passport, he entered without any problems 👍
From Paris, France: With a kind smile + attitude, and after providing some explanations of what VCG is (given the government’s QR checking app doesn’t recognize the code in the card) I’ve been granted access to a show at a small club and to a restaurant. At the resto the waitress even opened the code in her phone to see what it was and was ok when she saw the “verified ✅” stamp. Profile complete in my space, and I’ve set a reminder for every month to update my health status. 🙌🏽 Happy to read and share success stories about the card, and more important looking forward to seeing this study growing to soon be recognized 💪🏼🤞🏽 We will get there. Thanks to the initiators and volunteers! and to everybody committing to this study.
from Australia, about a school child: I’m in Sydney Aust. My 15 year old daughters school formal venue wanted 💉💉 only. I emailed the venue & told them she was part of a control group & had a digital card with QR code and they said, no issues, she’s welcome!!
Bought us more time as the poor kid was about to cave.

I have just successfully used my digital card, in The Courier Guy.
I showed them our cards, on the phone.
And answered their questions.
And all went well without complaint, or nonsense. Yaaay!!

For school children – Note the example above where it has been used by a school aged young person – this will become a new area for the card use, as many countries increasingly either encourage, or coerce, or mandate vaccination for school pupils. Having a card will enable the child to more easily stand up against peer pressure – may even become a point of envy for others! – and if applicable stand up against the school (i.e. government) rule requiring the vaccination.
Naturally, you will also be up against occasions where it does not make a difference. The idea with the Success Story channel above is to give you even more confidence in using it: sometimes, this confidence alone can be the ultimate convincing factor for an official, or a bouncer, or (e.g. in France) a store security guard. Remember, not many of them 100% agree inside themselves with the coercive and restrictive measures being introduced. But they have to do their job. This will help them do it!
Advice from one person in using the card:
- Be polite.
- And smile.
- Don’t act smug or superior.
- Or have attitude.
Using it for work
This aspect of the card’s use is becoming increasingly important in a number of countries around the world make employment in companies conditional on vaccination.
