Journalists speaking up

Holding The Line

Journalists Against Covid Censorship.

Holding The Line is a group of primarily British journalists who have come together to challenge media orthodoxy over Covid-19. We believe that the media has failed in many ways to report honestly and fairly on Covid-19 and has provided the government with often uncritical support for its extremist and destructive lockdown policies. Holding The Line works to raise consciousness about the reality of Covid-19 in the media industry and supports the efforts of dissident groups in other sectors.

Multi-Polar Magazine

This is a German based website, with a number of articles also in English. Click on the title above. From their About page:

“We are currently experiencing the transition from a unipolar to a multipolar world order. Since the failed Iraq war in 2003, the former global US hegemony has fallen into disuse. This painful process of decline poses a threat to external and internal peace. But at the same time it opens up great opportunities for alternative developments, for a peaceful, free and plural world. We want to pay particular attention to these exciting and complex geopolitical processes in our magazine. The same applies within society. In contrast to the oppressive political and media formation of the past few years, we rely on tensions, contradictions and different perspectives. Multipolar stands for multi-perspective journalism.”

A recent article, I cannot do it anymore, journalist and public TV editor Ole Skambraks talks of his experiences over the last 14 years. His article has been translated into four languages.
