What is happening to our health?
A worrying trend is in motion since the beginning of July 2021: the total death rate for England and Wales has been rising significantly above the rolling 10 year average — and staying there. (The dips for bank holiday weekends are an anomaly of the data collection systems.) These excess deaths exclude those attributed to Covid. What can be the cause? Governments and mainstream media are scrambling to give explanations, most ignoring the elephant in the room: vaccinations. The excess deaths have risen since the start of the vaccination campaign, and many scientists and doctors are now pointing to the disturbing connection.

The charts above and in the blog post have been updated with data from the Office of National Statistics. They were compiled by Jonathan S, a former maths teacher, who wrote a report on this already in October 2021, disturbed by the trend he was seeing. Click here for the report, which opens on another (secure) server, dated 26 October 2021.
If we check Public Health England records, we find further trends for the same period in 2021 (see https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1021620/NASS_Bulletin_2021_38.pdf). For instance, cardiac or respiratory arrests are higher, as are hospitalisations for ‘passing out’ as well as ‘Overdose or ingestion of poisoning’. These are disturbing; though recorded as ambulance hospitalisations, in relation to rolling averages since 2018, they could also be related to causes of deaths (for which we don’t have as up-to-date figures). Some of these symptoms are those reported for Covid vaccines, others (e.g. suicides, depression) are increasing due to the lockdowns, anxieties and stress brought about by all the fear inducing headlines and measures from the government.
Very worrying as well is the report of excess deaths amongst young people under 18 since the advent of the Covid vaccines for 12-18 year olds. While the figures are based on provisional data, the Expose writes that ‘Deaths among male Children are 89% higher than the 5-year-average since they were given the Covid-19 Vaccine’ (click here for their article). Why are children being vaccinated in the first place? we can well ask, when they are amongst the most resistant to Covid, with extremely low death counts – much lower than many other causes for that age range, yet scare calls are not being raised for other areas. In the light of these troubling figures and charts, do we sit back and wait, shrugging our shoulders?
Are multi-nationals truly looking after our health?
One hears so much these days about what multi-national pharmaceutical companies can offer, from Coronavirus vaccines to drugs for treating a whole range of illnesses. We hear less about what can keep us in health and thus prevent illnesses in the first place. On this page we will offer various articles and references to challenge the predominant narrative that it’s all about combatting illness, considering what promotes health and can make ‘treatments’ and medicines for illness unnecessary. We come readily to the insight that there is a lot of profit to be made in the narrative dominating the headlines of a ‘war on illnesses’, whether Covid or other, and relatively little in the ‘stay healthy’ approach. And where there’s big money to be made, there so often follows cover-ups, distortion of ‘statistics’ to suit the profit making ends, corruption…
Who remembers the days of cigarettes being promoted by tobacco companies for their health benefits? Is BigPharma any different?
Note from the advert above the technique of getting doctors ‘on board’ – an authoritative image for the public, who understandably would like to trust doctors for having the patients’ interests at heart. The ‘buying’ of doctors for big-business’ own profitable ends, through distortive reporting of research and statistics as well as outright lies, is something well known through the last decades if not longer. But we forget.
With tobacco, even after it became obvious that the companies were lying, big-tobacco firms fought tooth and nail all the way; when they were ordered by a USA Federal Judge in 2006 to issue corrective statements for their false promotions, they still challenged and delayed for yet further 11 years… see the story in the Guardian of 26 November 2017.
The more one looks into it, the more it becomes obvious that PROFIT is the main force behind health care today — as one book’s title graphically states, “Medicine in the stranglehold of profit”*. (*by Dr Thomas Hardtmuth, Medizin im Würgegriff des Profits, not yet translated). Health is no longer the goal striven for: where would the money be in that? As one meme from a recent issue (#27) of The Light newspaper states: ‘a patient cured is a customer lost’.
The whole plight of overcrowded hospitals at the height of the Corona Virus outbreak in spring 2020 (in the cases where it was actually the case!) can be traced back to this profit principle, mainly on twofold grounds:
1) Whereas in years prior to the Covid outbreak hospitals had to have sufficient ‘extra capacity’ during winter seasons in order to cope with surges (where there would in cold seasons quite normally every year be a huge influx of inpatients with flu complications), health care systems (i.e. also hospitals) over the past years have adopted profit oriented business models, which saw empty beds and spare capacity as lost money. Thus spare capacity was significantly done away with.
2) Added to the above were monetary incentives from government: hospitals were paid extra for dealing with Covid patients, ifff their spare capacity (i.e. empty beds) was under a certain level. So, with hospitals often feeling strapped for cash, beds were done away with in order to get more money. Then came the Covid surges…

Revolving Doors in BigPharma

This is an extremely interesting and informative talk, given by a nationally renowned physician and epidemiologist.
Dr. Peter McCullough is an internist, cardiologist, epidemiologist, in academic medical practice in Dallas, Texas, USA. He maintains ABIM certification in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. He manages common infectious diseases as well as the cardiovascular complications of both the viral infection and the injuries developing after the COVID-19 vaccine.
Since the outset of the pandemic, Dr. McCullough has been a leader in the medical response to the COVID-19 disaster and has published “Pathophysiological Basis and Rationale for Early Outpatient Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Infection,” the first synthesis of sequenced multidrug treatment of ambulatory patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 in the American Journal of Medicine and subsequently updated in Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine.
He has 51 peer-reviewed publications on the infection and has commented extensively on the medical response to the COVID-19 crisis…

Sept 2021: Over 12,000 doctors sign the Declaration of Rome
Adding a powerful voice to the many Declarations made by doctors and scientists over the past two years, over 10,000 doctors and scientists have signed the Declaration of Rome, protesting the “unprecedented assault on our ability to care for our patients.”
WHEREAS, it is our utmost responsibility and duty to uphold and restore the dignity, integrity, art and science of medicine;
WHEREAS, there is an unprecedented assault on our ability to care for our patients;
WHEREAS, public policy makers have chosen to force a “one size fits all” treatment strategy, resulting in needless illness and death, rather than upholding fundamental concepts of the individualized, personalized approach to patient care which is proven to be safe and more effective;
WHEREAS, physicians and other health care providers working on the front lines, utilizing their knowledge of epidemiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology, are often first to identify new, potentially life saving treatments;
WHEREAS, physicians are increasingly being discouraged from engaging in open professional discourse and the exchange of ideas about new and emerging diseases, not only endangering the essence of the medical profession, but more importantly, more tragically, the lives of our patients;
WHEREAS, thousands of physicians are being prevented from providing treatment to their patients, as a result of barriers put up by pharmacies, hospitals, and public health agencies, rendering the vast majority of healthcare providers helpless to protect their patients in the face of disease. Physicians are now advising their patients to simply go home (allowing the virus to replicate) and return when their disease worsens, resulting in hundreds of thousands of unnecessary patient deaths, due to failure-to-treat;
WHEREAS, this is not medicine. This is not care. These policies may actually constitute crimes against humanity.

Germ Theory and Terrain Theory

You may think that science is perfectly objective, but the World Health Organisation (hereafter, WHO) has definitions that put narrow limits to science. There is no more obvious example of this than in its latest dealing with transmissible disease and how it is pressurising the world into its germaphobe ideology. An experimental gene therapy is being touted as the singular treatment; one that has never before been tested on animals, let alone humans! The WHO is a relic of the global patriarchal scientific paradigm, the underlying principle of which is separation and control. The separation is from self and other; life and nature. The fundamental structure of Germ Theory (first promoted by Louis Pasteur in the nineteenth century) is based on just such dominance and submission: ‘We must find the germ and kill it’. The ubiquitous worldview we have inherited justifies it as necessary to overcome both our basic nature and ‘Nature’, seen as separate from us. It operates organisationally, in command-and-control forms – treating nature as a thing to exploit, use, subdue and, most importantly of all for some, convert to commodities for sale… Read more…
Meeting the virus with fear — or informed common sense?
Fear has an enormous psychosomatic effect. It influences not only our well-being but our health, making us far more vulnerable and susceptible to illness. Laura Dodsworth, in her book A State of Fear, does a commendable job in describing our our politicians have unethically abused their powers by using fear for controlling the population during the Covid crisis. BUT a very important element which she leaves out is the effect this has on our health.
In a book just published, What Covid-19 Can Teach Us, Dr Thomas Hardtmuth describes these effects, common to high levels of stress. While we acknowledge the effects fear has on mental health, and we especially see this amongst children and adolescents, we are behind in recognising that it has a significant effect on our immune system resilience, making us much more vulnerable to illness. A huge irony, that fear is being perpetrated by government psychologists as a weapon of control during the pandemic, allegedly to make us take the ‘pandemic’ seriously, which at the same time is causing us to have greater physical and mental health problems! Is it just that it can’t be put easily into the computer equations, or do the government politicians and scientists really not have a clue as to what brings about and maintains health?
These are only some of the issues taken up my Hardtmuth. His discussions include:
- immune system resilience
- PCR test reliability, and the hugely important issue of the test’s Ct (amplification) values, totally ignored in referencing test result statistics
- successful alternative treatment approaches – and there are, but again ignored by Pharma and governments (why wouldn’t they – they profit too much from the vaccines)
- risks and benefits of vaccination – even to open ones mouth on this topic has become almost a taboo. But Hardtmuth also looks at broader effects, including on broader immune system control and resilience
- fear’s negative effect on immunity

At the intersection of medical and economic sociology sits prescription drugs. Economically, the strange, government-protected markets for drugs lead to prices largely unrelated to either value or cost, though companies claim they reflect one or the other, or both at the same time. This sentence summarizes my first eight years of research on the corporate construction of costs and prices. That work demonstrated a constellation of markets infused with culture, false rhetorics, and the manipulation of evidence that misleads providers, payers, and patients.
Epidemiologically, appropriately prescribed, prescription drugs are the fourth leading cause of death, tied with stroke at about 2,460 deaths each week in the United States. Read more…
