MATHEMATICIAN UNCOVERS DISTURBING MORTALITY DATA

Sorting through bewildering statistics: British Mathematician & Professor of Risk Management, Norman Fenton, sorts through a maze of conflicting Covid and mortality data

“There are lies, damned lies, and statistics”.
Mark Twain

Any scientist knows how difficult it can be interpreting data; how the data is collected, what set of data you choose, what assumptions you make in collecting data, and more, all significantly affect the outcomes. Furthermore, what interest you have in the outcome or conclusions presented has often been shown to influence what choices are made in the above factors, thus setting a study on course to prove a desired end. One scientist commented that he could prove anything somebody wanted by the choice and arrangement of data.

This has all been extensively written about long before the onset of Covid, published in journals of all spectrums. Now in all the government and media press releases, the statistics have been bewildering and contradictory. We need to be just as discerning with government ‘statistics’ released now on Covid as we were accustomed to being before.

Professor Norman Fenton

In the video below, an extract from an interview with Del Bigtree, Professor Norman Fenton takes us through the maze of data, showing some of the reasons for conflicting Covid statistics, with some disturbing conclusions around the mortality statistics being used by government and media.

It is a must view video for anyone wanting to make heads or tails of what they hear and read on Covid statistics! Click on the link here to go to the Highwire site for playing the video, or click on the video arrow for directly playing.
