Counter culture music and musicians

A selection of music and musicians who have dared to simply speak their minds and not be afraid to go against group think. If you have another to add, let us know! (These are mostly on YouTube, and we’ll see how long they allow it to stay up, after its new censorship policies announced 29 Sept 2021!)

Katy-Jo Murfin protest song, Here We Go Again!

A recent release from Katy-Jo – nice song with some excellent pictures along the way! View the YouTube film above, or click on this link to view in BitChute.

Stroud’s own rebel musician – Davidskyman!

Eric Clapton echoed Van Morrison’s call, Where have all the rebels gone? (see their piece below). Presumably, they may have been especially referring to musicians, who in the old days dared to ‘speak up’ — err, sing up — to authority and ask the awkward question. In Stroud, as part of the Stroud Freedom Group, they have their musical rebel: Dave Molden — Davidskyman as he is called: click on videos below to play three of his music videos — and enlarge to full screen if wished!

Cathy Don’t Go to the Supermarket Today – “666”

This song from the 1980s is remarkably relevant to today – about computerised passes for shopping…

Clapton, Morrison, And Lewis: Rebel Musicians In Action | The Beau Show

From the description:

Eric Clapton and Van Morrison have teamed up to release music for freedom of speech and critical of the lockdowns, and Aaron Lewis released a patriotic song around July 4th. All three are being true “artists” by using their talent and platforms as a vehicle of truth and expression, and are the true rebels when it comes to resisting conformity and groupthink.

Van Morrison – Where have all the rebels gone?

Eric Clapton recorded guitar for Van Morrison’s album track ‘Where Have All The Rebels Gone?’, a statement he says he backs to the hilt. Below is the official YouTube version of the track.

Eric Clapton – this has gotta stop!

Eric Clapton in interview

GOD on COVID: Eric Clapton’s “Disastrous” Vaccine Experience

GOD on COVID: Eric Clapton discusses his “Disastrous” Vaccine Experience.

The video of the interview is no longer available on YouTube — it probably contravened their rules about not criticising the vaccines — but it is partially contained within the REBELS IN ACTION video above, at 10 minutes in. The following is the text of a letter to Robin Monotti Graziadei about his experience.

Clapton wrote:

“I took the first jab of AZ and straight away had severe reactions which lasted ten days. I recovered eventually and was told it would be twelve weeks before the second one…”

“About six weeks later I was offered and took the second AZ shot, but with a little more knowledge of the dangers. Needless to say the reactions were disastrous, my hands and feet were either frozen, numb or burning, and pretty much useless for two weeks, I feared I would never play again, (I suffer with peripheral neuropathy and should never have gone near the needle.) But the propaganda said the vaccine was safe for everyone…”
